Scott Kelby on the new DroboPro’s iSCSI connection:

That was enough for me right there, but they also added a new iSCSI connection (which uses a standard Ethernet cable connection, which most every computer already has built-in), but it’s WAY faster than even Firewire 800.

I’d never heard of iSCI connections before, but it’s good to know that their data transfer rates run faster than Firewire 800.

The Data Robotics page on DroboPro and iSCSI has this interesting explanation:
