HDR (High Dynamic Range) Blending
HDR blending allows you to postprocess two or more images with different exposure values in order to address the problem of capturing a scene with a high dynamic range.
- I like the explanation of HDR concepts in this blog post (I visited Venice in 2002 - it's a fantastic place!). There's a reference in there to a software called Photomatix which assists in automating the process of HDR blending - comes with a 30-day free trial.
- Read this HDR Blend tutorial by Roman Johnston. You might also like to read the related forum thread here.
